TPMS stands for Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
Since November 2012 legislation has been brought in stating that all newly homologated vehicles must be fitted with TPMS.
TPMS are systems that are fitted to vehicles to report low/high tyre pressures. The plan is for standard snap in valves to be phased out. TPMS valve are either bolt in or rubber snap-in valves, the snap in valves will normally have a visible brass shoulder and do not bend like standard snap-in valves. All TPMS valves should be serviced every time a tyre is replaced or repaired. TPMS have been fitted to many French and German Vehicles for over a decade,
We at Quedam Tyres & MOT are able to cater for TPMS. We have just invested in the latest technology in fitting and mainting TPMS for our customers. The Auto I-Sensor has the ability to duplicate sensors in as little 18 seconds. it then diagnoses an existing sensor and the programs an I-Sensor blank to become a clone with the same ID and protocol, meaning the fastest way to clone sensors with minimal input from the user. The system means we can carry out work on your vehicle to a higher standard and quicken the process with TPMS.
